Her favourite liquors are absinthe, vodka, Malibu, and most flavours of schnapps except mint
She hates the taste of smoke, but does it anyway as a form of self-medication; she smokes mostly flavoured cigarettes (menthol being her preference.)
Her wardrobe is 100% designer; mostly Prada, Louboutin, and Chanel. She particularly likes the really obnoxiously patterned men's shirts by Prada. Her slight masculinity and and love of menswear from her previous life still exists; it's just a little more toned-down and sophisticated.
She and Severine were together for three years before they had sex; Rana knew that she was only seventeen when they met, and that she'd been sold into the sex trade during her early teens, so she refused to allow their relationship to be anything more than platonic until she hit twenty. She hated her getting dressed up, or wearing too much makeup, and she bought her a very modest wardrobe when they moved in together. The reason behind this? As she once said to Sevvie; "You're still a little girl. And there's nothing at all sexy about a little girl, no matter what she's dressed up in."
Following on from this, though she may not seem it, she's a very courteous lover. She will always lean in halfway for a kiss and wait for Severine to bridge the gap; she'll always put her hands on Sevvie's waist or shoulders rather than her breasts or rear unless she's told to do otherwise; she always makes sure that Sev knows exactly what she's signing herself up for if and when they engage in BDSM, and she'll always do whatever is necessary to make her feel safe and comfortable after it's all said and done. Basically, she knows how terrifying and upsetting non-consensual sex etc. can be, and it terrifies her that she'd ever inflict that on another person, lest of all one that she loves. (She'd never admit that to Severine though.)
She isn't much of a masochist, but she always has had a kink for being on the receiving end of wax play.

She dislikes being tanned, though being Portuguese she tans very easily. It brings out her scars more, and in spite of fantasising about sunbathing and being outside while incarcerated, she's now overly-sensitive to light and sun. She's been known to walk around with an umbrella (as well as massive sunglasses, Lydia Deetz-style sunhat, and all-black long sleeves and trousers) to avoid any pigmentation change of any sort.
Her favourite makeup brands are MAC, Nars, Illamasqua, and Kryolan.
She's stupidly self-conscious about how tall she is, but wearing flats doesn't fit particularly well with her 'femme fatale' aesthetic, so she sticks with the heels. Usually, she stands at about 6'5" because of her footwear.
She only owns two skirts and around four dresses.
She was really petite when she was a kid, but had a massive growth spurt when she was 16, going from 5'4" to 6'.
She's never had a boyfriend, and has only ever consented to sex with a man once.
She messed around with a few girls in university, but just had it down as experimentation. She only really started to identify as a lesbian after she got with Lorna.
She is homosexual, but aromantic/demiromantic. This means she feels sexual arousal towards other women, but feels no romantic attraction to anyone, or at least not until she has gotten to know them and is comfortable with them [I got it the wrong way round; she likes sex but not people.]
She's not a terribly competent swimmer; this was nearly her downfall in her MI6 entrance exam.

She believed that it was the cyanide that wrecked her face for nearly six years; she only discovered that it was something else when she Googled the effects of hydrogen cyanide, and it was another seven before a doctor eventually identified the chemical burn scarring to her oesophagus and inner mouth.
She doesn't watch TV at all. Severine is basically the only reason she owns one (Sev's favourite shows are Pretty Little Liars, RuPaul's Drag Race, Hannibal, and - oddly, - CatDog.)
She has serious issues with her gag reflex and can't hold down anything which isn't liquid.
She makes money through a combination of stealing from those that she's killed, working as a hitman (well, hitwoman really) for other people, and being an extremely lucky gambler.
How she's not been caught yet for the first two is a mystery even to her.
Her hair is naturally curly; however, she's bleached it so much that is't basically dead, so she sleeps with rollers in.
She colours her hair herself. Severine cuts it.
She used to do it herself, which is half of the reason behind the asymmetry. The other half is using it to hide the left, more irregular, side of her face, which is why she keeps it.
She hates animals of any sort.
She doesn't drink tea, and takes her coffee black.
As a kid, she was terrified of Pete from the classic Disney cast (i.e. Mickey and co.)
She's never been to a theme park.
In spite of it being a language she's now fluent in, she failed GCSE Spanish twice. It's mostly down to her substituting verb endings and conjunctives from Portuguese by accident.
She suffers from depression and insomnia.
She has a super-high pain threshold..

She's read every Dickens novel ever published.
